GSK Scholarship 2023 in the United Kingdom
Three scholarships are
offered to support the training and development of the next generation of
leaders in global health, and strengthen the capacity of health systems and
health-related research in Africa.
These highly competitive
scholarships are available to applicants intending to study on a one-year,
full-time, London-based (face-to-face) MSc programme at the London School of
Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).
The scholarship intends to
attract talented candidates from the African continent to England. Thus, making
England a hub of intellectuals. It also helps them flourish in engaging with
the different academic activities and the collaboration of brilliant fellows.
This scholarship aims to
prepare leaders in the next generation in global health while strengthening the
capacity of health systems and related research in Africa. It will help Africa
overcome the prevalent disease and the perils of malnutrition with adequate
health-oriented strategies. This one-year face-to-face program helps students
be well-equipped with the working instruments in the best possible way.

Benefits of GSK Scholarships for Future
Health Leaders 2023-24:
Ø GBP 19,500.00 will be given as a living allowance
which is a tax-free stipend.
Ø The tuition fee will be covered.
Ø Any mandatory field trips will be covered.

Eligibility Criteria of GSK Scholarship UK
2023-24:
Ø The candidate must be a resident or national of
Sub-Saharan Africa.
Ø Candidates must be committed to returning to their region
after the completion of the program.
Ø They need to submit the Supplementary Questions form
that declares their financial unavailability to pay for the program otherwise.
Ø Candidates must meet the minimum set criteria for
the English Language.
Ø Must hold a first degree of either a first or
second-class equivalency.
Ø Must possess an admission offer.
Ø Enthusiastic to play their part in strengthening the
health system in Africa
How to Apply for GSK UK Scholarship
2023-24:
Ø The applicants have to apply online before the
closing date.
Ø Candidates need to provide the email address that
will further verify the application submission.
Ø Select the scholarship option from the drop-down
menu.
Ø Provide two references.
Ø Upload supplementary questions form in the second
step.
Ø Submit answers to the questions in the application
form with due care.
Ø Complete all the required fields for each level.
